I am completing my postdoctoral training in psychology at JFK Partners, as a LEND trainee. I conduct asssessments on a multidisciplinary team, attend LEND trainee activities, provide therapy to children with autism / IDD, and am involved in the FYF-IDD research project. My mentors and clinical supervisors are Dr. Judy Reaven and Dr. Audrey Blakeley-Smith.

I completed my internship at Clifford Beers Community Care Center (APA accredited), which is a community mental health center. I provided outpatient therapy, and comprehensive diagnostic assessments for autism, ADHD, IDD, and other mental health concerns (e.g., PTSD, anxiety, depression).

I completed my PhD in School Psychology at the University of Oregon (APA-accredited). My graduate advisors were Dr. Laura Lee McIntyre and Dr. Nicole Guiliani. My dissertation focused on how parent-child emotion regulation processes explained the relationship between parenting stress and mental health correlates in preschoolers with DD. My clinical experiences included conducting evaluations across school and clinic settings, and providing evidence-based therapy in a range of settings (clinics, community programs, telehealth, schools) and populations (foster parents, individuals with DD/autism/ADHD, LGBTQ+ teens).

Post college, I worked on research projects led by Drs. Kimberly Carpenter and Geraldine Dawson. My main involvement was with a project investigating the neurobiological mechanisms underlying the relationship between sensory over-responsivity and anxiety in autistic preschoolers. I also assisted with the processing of MRI, EEG, and EGT data, as well as an ongoing Autism Center of Excellence grant investigating the relationship between autism and ADHD.

I recieved my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology and Music in 2016. I was involved in research projects with Dr. Erin Hahn, Dr. Kerstin Blomquist, and Dr. Cinnamon Stetler. My primary instrument is voice.
